In the run-up to the 2021 federal election, the AGbaF was interested in the equality policy attitudes, concepts and plans of the various parties. Statements were sent by the parties Bündnis 90 - Die GRÜNEN, SPD, DIE LINKE, CDU and FDP. The AfD did not send a response.

Networked through a joint working group, the AGbaF works closely with the Bundeskonferenz der Frauen- und Gleichstellungsbeauftragten an Hochschulen e.V. (bukof) on overarching issues. Here from 2020 joint equality-oriented recommendations on the topic:
